Rate 'Rosa'

Well, I thought it was great.

4 out of 5 from me.

Overall I enjoyed it, but I found the song near the end jarring.

Quite liked the song, actually. The asteroid was the jarring bit for me.

To each their own, I found it kind of jarring.

Fair enough. The bit that bugged me slightly is that somebody naming a planetoid after you isn't that big a deal. It's nice, but not in comparison to the knock on effects of her actions in the human world. Still, great episode IMHO.

I wonder how film and TV company go about things like getting permission to drive around with authentic looking 1950s Alabama licence plates (I checked it out, and that was the format for 1955/6 plates).

Again, highest of praise for the location manager, set dressers etc. for making modern South Africa look like 1955 Alabama.

Hopefully they'll get some recognition in the BAFTA Craft awards.

Okay, now their getting somewhere - minus points for saying Rosa was the first to object and get arrested, but since she's the one they publicised...
Good history episode - good to enlighten those who don't know it....
